But the angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. He is not here, for he has risen, as he said. Come, see the place where he lay.”

They had watched Jesus carry his cross up a hill. They had watched nails as they pierced his body. They watched him breathe his final prayer. They watched as he died.
Early in the morning they traveled to the tomb. They were seeking Jesus. They had planned to minister to his physical body with spices they had prepared, but instead found an angel. The angel shared the miraculous news, “for I know that you seek Jesus… He is not here, he has risen!”
The situation did not look promising. Their messiah was crucified, yet they came. The political climate was full of tension yet they came. They sought Jesus.
We can find ourselves in situations that seem hopeless. Situations that seem where is Jesus has not moved. No matter what our eyes see physically he is a miracle worker. Keep seeking him. Keep trusting him. Keep following his Word. Never stop seeking! You could be moments from a miracle
